Thanks Jim,  Yes they circled the entire ship for about 45 minutes before 
they were satisfied we were harmless. ;)  Juneau was our first stop on the 
trip, and we never saw them or an other C.G. boat on the trip.

Your Coast Guard photo is a great action shot.  They seem serious, manning 
the assault gun.
