Channeling Ted Grant:
I was waiting on a downtown 4 train in Manhattan and a train
pulled in across the tracks. I noticed that there was a woman with her
back up against the door, arm outstretched steadying herself while she
was making out with a guy. I didn't think, I just pulled the camera up
to my eye and clicked:

Here's a crop of that photo:

The camera was on aperture priority so it blew out the highlights and
I had a bit of recovery to do in that bright window. The raw file looks
like a solid sheet of white.
Thanks Ted! It works! I saw it, then I captured the moment.

When I got on the train I was waiting for, there was a man who had the
full attention of most passengers in the car, watching him solve a
Rubik's cube, one handed, very fast:

A shot from the WTC construction site. Most construction sites aren't
secured like this one. When I was in the Seabees in Iraq, the only
places I saw wire that high with halogens every 15 feet was our
prisoner holding facility in-camp. We never secured project sites like
this:

Thanks all.
