I saw the Mapplethorpe exhibit (say, I do go to quite a bit of exhibits,
eve out here in the desert-land California :-) ) and his work with Patti
Smith looks so innocent. They were definitely "just kids." Wonder what
would have happened if the draw of fame didn't work its ways...
