(1958) The iconic book by Swiss Photographer Robert Frank. But I'm sure his was not the first. Nor last. http://www.lensculture.com/frank_images/frank_1.jpg When I drove out here to move here to NY it was during late June early July and small town America was adorned in RW&B. It was really excellent. A great time to be discovering small town America.
