They're from the 2012 Grand Prix Cycliste de Montr?al, one of just two world-class professional bicycle races (UCI sanctioned) held each year in North America. The other UCI sanctioned race takes place in Qu?bec City on the day before. In 2012, the races will be run back-to-back on September 8th and 9th. The Montreal race involves 17 laps of a 12.1 km long circuit. Of the total 205.7 km covered, nearly 55 km are difficult hill climbs. Most of the riders are veterans of the TdF.
