Subject: [Leica] M9 firmware update and 3rd party batteries

This no aftermarket battery thing is a real pain. If they hadn't charged so
much for something that is obviously available for much less, they could
have saved money on writing special firmware. Not something that makes me
feel good about the manufacturers.

Can anyone report from the field if the update will reject my non-Leica
batteries? Not looking forward to replacing them. Also, will the Leica only
battery injunction be enforced on the MM and M10?
