"Very sorry to hear that, Tina. The intervention in Afghanistan was
initially amply justified by the need to punish the 9/11 perpetrators, "

17 out of the 19 hijackers were Saudi Arabians

and the money for the operation came from Saudi Arabia via the UAE

the poor Afghans were not even in control of their own country,
being oppressed by a purely Pakistani creation called the Taleban at the
time
who suppressed Afghans using imported mercenaries........

so, there NEVER was any justification to attack the occupied Afghans.
the rot lies elsewhere.

and nothing was ever accomplished.
the US is officially in negotiations with the Taleban right now.

"but that was accomplished years ago. By now all the allies should get out
and let the Afghans get on with killing each other, since that is all they
seem interested in.

Cheers,
Nathan"
