Mark,

The reason you bought what they had at the art store is that around a
University, they had what the art teachers asked them to stock.

Maybe not but a couple canvas choices, but after all, a kind teacher would
make you work on Masonite until you deserved canvas.  I never got past
Masonite, but then neither did Clementine Hunter, and her stuff brings big
bux.
