Street is unpredictable, so is more difficult for me - I always add the caveat, if you notice, because my eyes are not up to the task of focusing MF lenses wide open or thereabouts. I see very little point in using Leica lenses and stopping down to say, f8 to compensate - I might as well use a Nikon equivalent, the results will be pretty close. I have just bought a Zeiss Distagon 25mm f2 in Nikon mount, which I found during testing it out was pretty accurate using the D800E and the "green dot" focus confirmation. I will give it a twirl on Saturday, and see how it goes, using both the green dot and hyperfocal focusing. I actually got this mainly for landscapes/panoramas, with a tripod, where all these disadvantages sort of disappear.
