Geoff, the tamron on the d800e is a disaster, i bought and returned two
copies of the lens cause the VC works in slow speed and the in medium
shutter speed, pictures were blurry and also the cam on both lenses for
nikon were misaligned, u can chk this youself, put your camera in liveview
and start moving tht aperture from 2.8 upward, u will not see changes till
