I've had thunder and lightening during snow storms here the weather report there is often : YES!! But this triple cyclone hit the upper west side from the wrong direction. It didn't even rain very hard. A few gusts. Nothing worth writing home to mom about. It was the quietest two days in NY I've had in 6 years. We were not allowed outside. Nobody in my apartment was making a sound. Maybe half of them had left. I listen to WNYC on the radio but off my laptop with my headphones. I experience the reality of the storm and everything else through my headphones. I guess if I had a TV I'd have it on. All I hear about is what happened yesterday not what's happening now. Ok one of the ferries are going to start tomorrow at 7 am. The Hudson river ferry. I'm love to take a ferry somewhere. I'm putting that on my short list. Not done that yet in 6 years in ny. I'm going to take a shower and go out and see whats going on.
