Mono Lake is on the eastern side of California, approximately 2+ hours from
Reno, 5-7+ hours from San Francisco (depending on whether Tioga Pass is
open or not), and 8-10 hours from LA.

It's somewhat a "one trick pony" with the amazing tufa formations.

I did tweak the sliders in Lightroom to make the sky pop. Although I just
double checked the film, and it's actually Velvia so that explain why I
have to desaturate a little to get that purple tinge off :-)
