Cropped format cameras do not matter when it is the image that counts.
Telling yourself otherwise is just rationalization for how much money
you paid for the camera. 
I've owned both full frame and cropped sensor digital cameras and you
can't tell which camera made which image with which lens without
looking at the metadata.
