Phil, up on the Cane River, I was doing the same job at about the same time
at Northwestern State.  We  used Rolleis for sports work.

Funny though, the College President John Kyser, was an avid Leica photog,
and often dropped several rolls off the lab for us to soup.  (He did his
own printing.)

My job now at the University Archives often brings me into contact with his
files of negs and chromes.
