Subject: [Leica] Color vs. B&W

You'd have to start off believing in the Soul first which is really nowadays
no longer a given. Just like prayer youre not supposed to just assume people
are going to do that or believe in it.. Or Theism; believing in God.
And even if you did go for all that stuff and I'm not saying I don't tying
in Monochrom art vs. full color to it is tenuous at best and perhaps
originally meant to be taken with a grain of salt and  a bit of humour.

The preponderance of large  or at least larger format black and white or
monochrome work in the history of photography makes one feel it packs more
weight.  But that could be the way we are conditioned to think or feel about
it. All those pix enter our DNA and we're never the same...
People dressed much better in the 40's and before. The 50's even. The
fabrics were better. Guys wore top hats for peats sakes. How can you compete
with that? Hire extras from Central Casting who have period costumes.
