Most of these things all work the same... Try this for info...it is for the
2531, a similar looking tripod

If I gather the info correctly, there  is a screw+ nut in the top of the
tripod leg.  The nut LOOKS LIKE another screw.

Using 2 Allen wrenches, and working very gingerly, try tightening one
relative to the other.

I have a Gitzo 2227 carbon-fiber tripod. One of the legs is loose where it
mates with the tripod spreader.

It seems like there's a nut to tighten but somehow the leg would have to be
in place in order to do that.
