Nikon is blitzing the US too.  I bought a D600 with the 24-85 VR lens, a 32 
gb Sandisk, an Oben monopod, an extra battery, and a Lowepro case for under 
$2000, shipping included.

In the few pictures I've taken so far with the D600 and that lens, the image 
quality is quite extraordinary.
