Bob,

> For about $17,000, you can have an Alpa and 22MP (full frame) back and 70mm
> Rodenstock lens with 5deg of tilt. ...

Is your back a 22 MP back? How much does the 80 MP back add to the cost?

I must say, my opinion of the Apo Rodagons I have for enlarging and
copying is right up there with my best Leica & Zeiss optics.

To be honest, what I think I'd like more is a 36 MP Leica M cmos (if
their technology delivers the goods). Whether a 24 MP cmos done right
will temp me to part with the money is an open question. Right now, I
don't see any machine that can match (performance/weight plus ease and
speed of operation) what I have (M9) for the types of things I do.
The MM is amazing for many uses, but selecting by color range (not
gray level range) has become too important to give up.

Thanks,

Paul
