Nothings stopping Sigma from doing a Foevon full frame if its a better way of making a sensor. Ring now its trouble on Adobe camera raw and Photoshop which is like saying a few years ago: this new film is great just don't try to develop it into your darkroom. They will come out with the 1x Foevon after they've saturated the market with a 1.5x or 2x at a much friendlier price point. There is one I'd bet sitting on Mr. Foevon's desk right now. But they'll put on in a cell phone first. Coming out of the gate it will cost over two grand which will be much harder to market. In the old days people knew they had to pay some real money for a Rollei 35 or a Contax T3 or other "gentleman's compacts" with German sounding glass and impressive build and quality output. But those guys are all dead. Nowadays a way tougher sell selling a compact for a 3000 instead of 300. People are just learning its something else than Mps which make a better image.
