Hi Ken,
Unfortunately my friend they didn't spell it incorrectly! :-) :-) 
American's spell it "color!" Correct in your language.:-)

In English language in many other countries where the language evolved in 
writing and spelling,  it's spelled, " Colour!"  Just one of those things 
from years gone by when the letter "U" was dropped by the Americans???? From 
many English spelling words .  Or something along those lines?
