I remember when this came out. Our driver at the time, Jacques Lafitte, has 
a Merc S-class with it on. He insisted on demonstrating it to me when we 
were at a test in northern France. It was most impressive and probably the 
biggest safety addition to car dynamics I had yet seen.
OTOH Jacques was not using it as a safety feature, either on track, or when 
we went for dinner in Arras at 220kph...
Nathan, it is entirely likely that all the functionality is now on a single 
chip, buried in an ECU containing interlinked vehicle stability controls...
