With Levine gone, we've had a series of guest conductors this year and we're
all mumbling to ourselves how much we miss Jimmy.

The BSO has just appointed a new Musical Director Designate: Andris
Nelsons, of whom I know nothing except that he's a young guy with a great
reputation for good music making. He will also be more interested in
traditional rather than contemporary music.

Regards,

Dick
