Hi John,
IMO it's not. The X-E1 is noticeably faster. I am no EE, but I don't think
the X-E1 has a shutter: when I remove a lens I see the sensor. As the X-E1
has no optical viewfinder, only the back LCD or the Electrical View Finder,
the exposure mechanics are probably quite different. Perhaps it's just a
timed electrical pulse?
