Early this morning I had a dream where I was covering an award ceremony and
everything went wrong. I arrived in front of the stage seconds before the
event, I dumped my camera bag in my haste, barely got a flash set up on a
light stand, grabbed one of two cameras that were on the floor - neither had
lenses on them, then discovered it was fresh out of the box with no strap
or memory card or my preferred settings dialed in. As I fumbled to put on a
lens and load a card, the light stand holding the flash fell toward the
stage. I caught it just before it hit the MC on the stage, but then it
jerked toward the audience. By this time the first awardees were posing on
stage...

I was so glad when I woke up and realized I don't have to deal with this
anymore. Whew!!
