I'm talking about using the rangefinder viewer for focusing, which -- as 
spectacular as it is -- has difficulty resolving in ultra low-light 
situations.  Cameras with the live view function can focus and much more in 
conditions bordering on the ridiculous.

I suspect you're right about the next Sony camera, though I expect they're 
trying to pull an Apple halo trick; i.e, by buying a FF NEX that can mount 
lenses from any manufacturer, they're hoping they'll slowly get your glass 
business as well, as you discover that glass older than a decade is 
out-resolved by the image sensors.
