Just teasing Sensei!

Like I said you could put the bottom of a coke bottle on any camera and your
photos would be great!
Watch out for other glasses raised in your honour in Barcelona, very soon

Salud!
your humble student in Australia,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,
You know I've never gone through all the techie stuff you other folks do!
:-)

I shoot with it and if all looks cool..... I keep it and use it without
question. If we are considering LEICA GLASS? I never ever questioned nor
went through testing other than "what does it look like wide open and
stopped completely down?" Heck what happens in between, looks like, nor
care? It's Leica glass that's all you need to know. The best! :-)

Other than in this case? ...... the Nokton f 1.2, 35mm lens? I had the 35
1.4 Summilux lens as a near normal for years and beautiful images! .........
although I never went through what appears many of you do testing? But the
the NOKTON f 1.2? Compared? WOW!!!!!

I, on a major shoot nearly always had 3 M series cameras and different
lenses hanging around my neck and on my chest-belly! No need to change film
and instinctly when you see "the magical moment?" Used the camera with the
correct lens and film! Without thought! click!

Without thought! And I have eight published hard cover books by publishers
proving my non-thought, but instinct works! :-) Well Ok for me in any case!
:-)

AND WITHOUT THOUGHT, BUT INSTINCTIVE VISION! CLICK!

Then on the left shoulder two SLR's with MOTOR DRIVES and longer glass! And
on the right shoulder, another SLR/motor drive with the usually longest lens
to swing - into-play...... CLICK! When required and all done via
"instinct!" No thoughts but "see---click!"

Think about anything in most photojournalistic moments? And you have
nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! It's called "VISUAL INTINCT OF SEEING!" CLICK! :-)

Too many photographers get all hung-up on the techie results and numbers!
That is, "instead of enjoying just taking pictures!! :-) Whether for the
wonderful joy of taking exposures. Or earning their living!!!!!!!!!

How this works for others is always another question?

Me? It's how I've done my enjoyment of photography for 64 years and still
loving it at the sweet young age of 85! :-) AND 15 YEARS TO GO! ;-) !!!!!
KISS!!!! :-)
cheers,
Dr. ted :-)
