In1984 I had one of the best experiences of my life. During my drive
through southern Scotland and England, I was heading to Bath and stopped at
Lacock Abbey, since it was one of the birthplaces of photography. In the
shop there I found a book , "The Silbury Treasure", by Michael Dames, about
Silbury Hill, which I had never heard of. The next day I went there,
climbed to the top, and lay back in the grass with my head on my camera bag.
I was in a slight depression, and was only aware of the grass around me and
the sky above. I felt like I was floating, having no weight.

It was magical.
