No, this hasn't been through any airports.  It only occurred on one or two
frames per roll, at random points (not at the start or end of the rolls,
either).  All film was loaded into the Mamiya magazines indoors, or in
subdued light.

I had some airport scanned film that looked like that before.  Maybe the
film was fogged?  You could waste a roll from the suspect batch and see if
it is fogged or clear as it should be?
