This is one of those sets where we might wish for accompanying sound Peter.
I can only comment entirely on the photos as photos of course.
I don't mind at all the high contrast , shadows and the colours work fine
too. The atmosphere/environment is great. You did not have ideal lighting
on Kari's face in the first and perhaps not an ideal head position on the
third. Still they convey something of her joy and accomplishment and still
work well, I think. Photographically your soprano (Heather) is your star.
Great shot for moment and everything else.
