The Epson 3880 is a good printer from what I hear.

I use the 4880, which is no longer made. Its replacement, the 4900, has had 
problems.
Two people I know have it and have had problems. One got a completely new
printer from Epson due to the problems. I don't know whether the problem are 
solved yet.

The 4880 is a workhorse for me. It is a fine printer.
