The closest petals may have been within the plane of focus
though
there's too much "movement" to refer to any part of the image as "sharp."

looks to me as the second layer of petals
with the water droplets on them
is where the plane of focus was when the shutter clicked.

I wonder if this discrepancy between what you saw in view finder
and what was recorded
as the wind moved the bloom
is due to shutter lag with EVF
