Nathan OFFERED:
>>But I am sticking to the Leica thing, and so only pictures taken with the
M8, or pictures taken with the Fuji X-Pro 1 and a Leica lens are eligible
for selection.<<

Hi Nathan,
Good on you lad! Thank you.
Nice to see some semblance of LEICA order here about's! I had an M6 one of
my last, I
gave to my grandson after he graduated from photo-college two years ago. He
shoots with it all the time for fun. Then drops his film off at a local lab
for souping and contact sheets. Then comes here and makes his prints.

I have an M8 and a few Leica glass elements (lenses) left.
1/ My Noctilux (first one sold in CANADA) way back when! They'll have to pry
from my cold dead hands! Naw my hands will always be ready for warm photo
action right to the dying moment. Only because the devil will have me
shoveling coal? ;-) ;-) One handed! As my M8 will be in the other! ;-) ;-)

2/ 90mm Summicron! I very much enjoy to this day.

( a couple of non-Leica)

3/ 35mm 1.4 NOKTON ! Another incredible lens as sharp as a razor blade. :-)

4/ 15mm Voightlander f 4.5 An absolutely all round fun lens! :-) One can
shoot
some quite different images with a depth of sharpness from the tip of your
nose to the moon and back!:-)

I suppose as I dream of having an S2 and a few lenses one of these
days after I win the $50,000,000 million Canadian lottery???? Yep still
hoping and buying tickets! WHY? Well you just never know??????? ;-)

Hey folks, one should never stop hoping for good fortune and a happy life!
Yes!! Even at the times when you are at the pit bottom of Grief! :-( If you
pull up your socks and look for the "LIGHT?" A "PHOTO-LIGHT" have faith and
you'll find it! Always think of "The Art of Observation!"

I was going to shoot a bunch of Christmas decorated homes, but it's raining
and I'm not taking any chances of falling on my butt a few days before
Christmas! :-)
So instead, as it just came to mind as a subject? I think I'll shoot some
images of the fire place roaring away just for fun and see what one can
capture in the imagery of the flames! ;-)

There, rain part solved! :-) Besides it'll be warm and cozy instead! See?
Always think positive and look for the light!! :-) :-) :-)

Have a good one everybody !

cheers,
Dr. ted :-) :-)
