When the tree fell on my house and stopped just above my head, the Vaio
fell off my table while running onto a terracotta tile floor. I picked it
up and carried it to the kitchen, and it was still connected to the
wireless modem and working.

The point I was attempting to make in my Merican English, of course, was
not about Mac vs Sony, but that even if Sony sells the imaging division,
the camera will likely work, just as my Vaio does, even though Sony sold
the notebook division.
