Subject: [Leica] masterfully baiting wildlife

When working on assignment for National Geographic Magazine, I was given the
task of tossing large quantities of Quebecois patates frites (a.k.a. French
fries) into the air over a sawmill site. The purpose was to attract
Hitchcockian flocks of gulls into the frame.

All was under the supervision of a Canadian Wildlife Service biologist.

No animals were harmed and the birds seemed to really savour the unsalted
frites.
