Also, if you dislike vignetting do not go near a wide open Noctilux ;-)

I have both, if you are going to use f1.4 or smaller most of the time save 
money and weight with the Summilux asph. The Noctilux does render slightly 
differently but not enough so to pay the difference ;-)

Just out of idle curiosity, or maybe not, I'd like to know if it's possible 
to locate Erwin Puts' discussion of the 0.95 Nocti. I haven't been able to 
find it online (inactive links). 

Has the Nocti been formally compared to the new APO-Summicron in terms of 
general performance at the same apertures from f/2 on? Or is it better 
compared to the 50 'lux from f/1.4 up?
