When the famous French painter Delacroix saw the first Daguerrotype he
complained with sadeness cit.; "....that's the end of painting...".
Well no photography is  just another form of art when you know what you are
doing.
In Europe since the end of the iron curtain and the reunification of
Germany a lot of things have happened.
Former Eastern Germany photocompanies active in the photo market before
WWII have rejoined the Western market.

Machines in the west where sold or moved to the former Eastern Germany and
other Republics.
Production has started again and a prudent market is developping.
