Philippe,

I?ve not followed the debate but viewing the files my first impression is
always for the first shot of every pair.

However I?m not a person with a technical knowledge neither concern to
discuss very fine performances of a lens, what I can appreciate is flare,
contrast / smoothness, warm or cold rendition, bokeh effect ?., for me it is
more difficult appreciate and discuss about coma, distortion, vigneting?.

As you know I have a certain small collection of 50?s and I like play with
them, I think we can always say that for a precise circumstance a lens will
be better than another, but for me, my conclusion is that the better lens is
that you was using at the moment you shoot the picture. If we was studio or
landscape photographers, I see a reason to hoose the best lens for that
purpose, at least on my case is not my concern.

Amiti?s
Lluis
