Subject: [Leica] IMG - The Canadian Flag, 50 years old this month

On February 19th, 1965 the new Canadian flag was inaugurated. Starting end 
of April, 1965 I stuck a vinyl flag on my suitcase and hitch hiked through 
Europe for 5 months, from Ireland to Austria and Norway to southern Spain 
and Italy. The flag got me preferential treatment at all the pickup points, 
as many drivers wanted to know what it was. A wonderful adventure.
