I?d hope you upgraded to error correcting RAM. One of the biggest issues
with our computers today is the integrity of the data paths through the
system. Error correction in the memory system and in the file system is
becoming more and more important. Alas, Apple has a file system that doesn?t
deal with data integrity in any real way. And the cloud? Does anyone verify
that your images stored up in the cloud and synched with your computer won?t
end up corrupting your images?

I think this is the issue for this decade: data integrity.
