Subject: [Leica] M6 cosmetic issue

The film speed selector is located on the back of the M6 in the center of a
horizontal hinged door.

A small plastic frame for inserting the square end piece of the film box
that displays, for example, ?ILFORD FP4 Plus 125 Black & White Film 36 EXP"
surrounds the film speed selector.

This plastic frame fell off my M6/0.85 that I bought 17 or 18 years ago. The
frame was held in place by two narrow strips of adhesive that separated.

Has anyone encountered this issue and repaired it? I am not about to send
the camera to Leica.

I shall be grateful for constructive comments.

Oliver
