Subject: [Leica] M240 as Scanner

There's no development on scanners;  even top of the line flat beds are only 
derivatives of several year old technology.  The thing that makes any of 
them better is faster computer processing and more memory.  

The reason we don't talk about them is that few people need to shop for them 
anymore.  If we need it, we probably already have one, and they're not 
nearly as sexy to talk about as lenses and sensors.
