Mark, you can.
You can get a Sony A7 for $1,098.00 right now by walking down to B & H.
Cheaper than any Nikon full frame body.
And it will use the handful of M lenses you still own.

The SL is NOT officially named for a Leica R body, it stands for the 
German word "Spiegellos", which means ?Mirrorless?.
