Subject: [Leica] BRD: Long time no birds

The Baie de Somme is a specific place as the combined effect of the tide and 
river flow attract thousands of birds (gulls, geese, ducks, etc) and forms a 
wonderful natal reserve for birding.

Here's a patient gull (to be named) waiting for the ebb to cover the land so 
that dinner may be served without fussing about too much.

Once the tide's in -exceptionally high at this time of the year- they start 
surveillance operations

And they go for mice and other small animals trapped by the unusually high 
waters

Some are jealous or hungry and dogfighting may ensue.
