Subject: [Leica] M8 problems

Until the M9 came out, there was no firmware that would allow the M8 to work 
with any card above 4Gb, and 4Gb was only possible with certain cards that 
used chips that were wired together non-conventionally. Apparently later 
firmware solved this, but mine is still in 2Gb mode, which is fine since 
I've dedicated a half dozen 2Gb cards to the camera, and I'll never need 
more.
