If you have not seen it yet, do look it up online. All the pages are
available for preview ( a good thing, BTW!).

The image pairing ( I have no idea what this is technically called), is
quite nice. Many of the pairings truly enhance the overall quality of the
individual images. None take away from the quality. And it is just plain
fun to try to guess why those particular images were paired. What was in
the mind of the Editors.

It is also fun to just peruse the list of participants, and see names that
do not participate in our daily "conversations". To some degree, the
answers to: What kind of images does this person take? What are his
personal preferences/loves in photography? Who is this person, as an
artist? Even as simple as . Who else is reading from the LUG?

Some of the photographs come from those that rarely or never post images,
including myself. Some of the images come from almost daily participants in
the show-and-comment arena. It is just good to see us all participating in
a venture that does good for the community.

Remember, this all started out as not a venue for showing off, or competing
with one another... It was and remains a way to give to a charity; as a
thanks for being there for others; as an appreciation of what can be done
for those less fortunate. It is not about us, it is for them.

It is the season of thankfulness.

Congratulations and thank you, Richard and C.J., for the work you have
done..
