Well its comparative. These lenses cost a couple of grand more or less.
That's a break over the new fast lenses that have been announced this
decade now that Leica has been saved. This decade the 21mm, 28mm24mm f/1.4
Summilux-M's both cost close to six or seven grand. With the Elmarits taken
out of the catalog at the time.
Those Summilux-M's were a few price points high then these new ones just
announced. So I think Leica is coming back to earth a bit. Back to where it
used to be before it was saved.

When the pricey 35 Summilux-M was announced this last decade the Summicron
was taken out of the catalog. Not is back. I think Leica is in effect
lowering its price point by quite a bit. A bit closer to mine.

So it looks bad for the less than super rich.
I think someone with a fast food job who lives with their Mom can save a few
months paychecks and get one.
