AFAIK - there's a group of potential customers that 
goes by the name of young people;-)

Not all that many here on the list, but a big market 
segment that Leica has, up to now, seldom addressed or 
accessed.

Young people get older and - if the Sofort makes them 
happy - may well stick with the brand and take a closer 
look at what else it has to offer.

Just like the MINI drivers who move on and up to BMWs. 
A perfectly logical marketing strategy.
