Subject: [Leica] What would you conclude?

If any company treated me like this, I would never do business with them 
again. I enjoyed using my M8 in Italy last week, at least in daylight 
(usable ISO stops at 640) but I suspect that the Leica I will keep the 
longest is the M2, born exactly 50 years ago.
