I had hoped I could find a work-around for the inability to completely disable the automatic viewfinder brightness mode. So far, no-go and the inability to permanently enable exposure preview mode is a deal-breaker. The Sony has lots of functional deficiencies but I rarely encounter them. The SL has only one functional deficiency (for the way I work) and it smacks me in the face nearly every time I use it. Crap. At least my wallet will be healthier.
