That is a lovely bike, Dan, but I won't be racking up more than 5
kilometres at a time on the folder, so it's hard to justify a new Mu Ex.
If I'm going any distance, I'll be using one of the other bikes I have.

My main issue is my current knee problems, so I've been using my 18 year
old folder to get downhill to the train, and then use it again at the
other end. However, because of its weight, it's a PITA crossing railway
bridges, so a basic lightweight Dahon should do. I've spotted an ad for
a secondhand Dahon Vitesse 8 here in Dublin, and I may go for that. A
couple of days ago I was down in the local supermarket shopping for
food, and there was a girl pushing a folded up Brompton around while she
too shopped for food. I asked her could I see just how heavy it was and
lifted it up. Compared to my folder, it was as light as a feather.
